Dam with retention basin for flood control of river Liskur
Our team designed a dam and dry retention basin on the Liskur stream to improve flood safety. The project, commissioned by the Nova Gorica City Municipality, also includes the reconstruction of a local public road and accompanying infrastructure.

During the planning process, we carefully analyzed the hydrological and hydraulic characteristics of the Liskur stream and assessed the current flood vulnerability of the area. Based on these findings, we developed a plan for constructing a dam and dry retention basin that will reduce the risk of floods and limit negative impacts on infrastructure
